This Spanish qualification covers recreational boats up to 6 metres long, with the engine power permitted by the manufacturer. Navigation is limited to daylight and up to 2 nautical miles from a port, marina or place of shelter.
The required training includes 2 hours of theory and at least 4 hours of practical training. The licence is issued by an authorised nautical school or federation.

The Licencia de Navegación is a Spanish qualification. It should not be confused with a German Sportbootführerschein or a British boating qualification. Please check recognition and the relevant requirements before using it abroad.
